Paul Michael James Drea fly out of Brisbane and up to Cairns. loved the place. V hot, can't swim in the sea though but they have a big outdoor pool that everyone goes to tan and swim. beware no Ozone up here !

more nice beer and wine and stayed in a nice place with people from lots of other places than England.

day two,(Anzac Day), went to the Reef. 3 dives, saw a shark , touched a turtle and saw a big cuttlefish , lots of fish infact.

apparently the reef is the same size as Japan!

most of the reef and colur is just four metres below the surface !

Had a Drive up to Cape Tribulation the following day, worth it just for the Cook highway and the beer i got at the end of the drive up.

God, i love the Aussies, actually had tears in my eyes when i left, didn't want to leave. so much to do and see, i will be back v soon !!

this is the crossing to Cape Tribulation, yes there are lots of Crocs in there. want to do the little boat trip next time to see them up close!

only went down here because it shares the name with a lane in Rutland ! deserted ! very beautiful !

Cairns Rainforest Park
here they had walk ways through the forest, quite small but had a look out tower, very high up with great views.
the six snakes on the left are very posionous, the three to the left poisonous and the others bar one will bite or crush you, nice !

meets the sea,good view, no beer though, doh !

Port Douglas
this is why i need to come back to Aus, its not about the views etc, its the culture !

on the way up to Cape Tribulation, beautiful drive, great music on the radio

after my third dive, enjoyed all three, no pics though, you've all seen finding Nemo, its pretty similar

Cairns The Lagoon
no beach or sea action at this time of the year so everyone swims and burns here. no ozone !

this was the pool area, very nice place to stop.
