Hey! Well I kinda feel obliged to record and take notes when I'm travelling but I know that I never do. So ... I've decided to announce that I'll be taking a blog so that I now have a social obligation to complete it. I'm not sure how my access to the internet will be, nor my level of motivation, so updates may be rather inconsistent but I'll do my best. At the moment, there's not much to report as my flight is still 6 hours away (so this'll be a short entry). I've attached a rough map of the route I'm taking and will (hopefully) keep you updated. Cheers, Gough... read more

Home to Marnie from November 2009 - May 2010 was RQYS in Manly overlooking Moreton Bay. Inspired by our neighbour Nancy, I swam two miles four or five times weekly at the Manly Pool and loved both the exercise and the time out of the heat!... read more

We arrived on the island shortly before their arrival, stocked the fridge and launched the dinghy in preparation for the fun. We were delayed in Nassau because ... read more

Having had a superb time in New Caledonia, particularly in the Isle of Pines, we arrived safely at the Rivergate Marina, Brisbane just over a week ago. The passage was uneventful with two days of motoring but comfortable sailing and the gennaker flying for much of the time. We are now located at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Manly and will update with photos in a few days. It's been busy with varnishing and working on the engine since arriving so no time for luxuries like uploading blog pictures! Later! Today, as you see a little time was found after varnishing the cockpit. The Manly Swimming Pool opened over the weekend and will be utilised until we leave for the US in just over one week. Love to you all xXx... read more
