I have officially started orientation at school! It is nothing too exciting and pretty boring. There have been 2 lectures that I had to attend and a few free lunches and that’s about it!

Since it’s been pretty slow around here we decided to spice things up a bit and head to the Australia Zoo. What an AMAZING place!! I could not even tell you my fav part of the trip- it was all so exciting. The animal are much more ‘interactive’ here, unlike the Toronto Zoo where they just feed them, here they play with them, make them do tricks and ‘egg them on’. The Croc show was pretty neat to see, as well as the tigers and feeding the kangaroo’s, but enough about that- check out the pic’s to see for yourself!

So this elephant decided to turn on the hose itself and spray down the zoo keeper with it!! Definitely not a 'planned' trick on anyone's part!! Luckily the water didn't reach the audience!

Accomplishments

Oh my!
What great photos! Looks like you are having a wonderful time. I think the kangaroo is cute even up close. Was the koala friendly, - U.Walter said when he saw them they were not very sociable and liked to spit at you! Wonder how many people the old croc has wanted to bite!!?
