Airlie Beach to Mackay

We had to wait an hour in the bar for the Europcar rep to get back from the airport but we got an upgraded car so that was good. The start of our journey south to Brisbane. We drove west to Proserpine then turned south. We saw 2 lots of wild emus grazing in fields. Our next stop was Cape Hillsborough to see kanga on the beach but we just saw 2 wallabies on the grass picnic area ans a few kookaburras and bush turkeys. Continue south to Mackay. Alex uses the phone google to find our motel for the night.
