Lazy start to the day and then just did some local exploring. The area is being pushed as being the next Noosa. There are some super new places but current house prices are already close to Noosa.

Cook Memorial
Above where Captain Cook first landed in Queensland. Is rather sad to see lots of long grass and weeds in the garden around it.

The place where he apparently came ashore. Looking across Bustard Bay.

An interesting hillside. It looks as if the rocks have landed out of the sky.

Could not decide if they are brave or crazy. Hope they were lucky.

Is said to be the most northern surf beach on the Queensland coast.
