Campground Camels & Kings Kanyon

It was late at night when I came back from the bathroom and had a surprise encounter with one of the wild camels which roam the pitch black campground in search for food.
Another early morning call: 4:40AM! Today we got to see Kings Canyon. The 6km long Rim Trail was probably the most interesting hike of all three days. And so everyone was happy when we finally made our long way back to Alice Springs. In the evening, all cleaned up, we met again for a last beer at the Bojangles Saloon.

Es war schon spaete Nacht als ich vom Duschen zurrueck kam und ploetzlich unverhofft einem dieser wilden Kamele gegenueber stand, die hier auf dem unbeleuchteten Zeltplatz gelegentlich nach Nahrung suchen.
Wieder ein frueher Weckruf: 4:40! Heute gings zum Kings Canyon. Der 6km lange Rim Walk war wahrscheinlich die interessanteste Wanderung der letzten drei Tage. Und so war jeder happy als wir dann unseren langen Weg zurrueck nach Alice Springs antraten. Am Abend traf sich unsere Gruppe nochmal im Bojangles Saloon fuer ein letztes Bier bevor sich unsere Wege wieder trennten.
