No joke...No joke...No joke...

Obama is coming to Darwin tomorrow! Majeed and I are going to Parliament to see if we can shake his hand...I'll let you know how that goes!
The newspaper here is called NT News and man, is it ever sensationalist. I'm not one to promote any newspaper anywhere really because I think they're all biased and full of boring, inaccurate and often extremely depressing information.

One thing about the NT News is that it's not boring. The front page is printed in large bloc letters and posted on sandwich board type gadgets and displayed in front of stores so that it is readable from the car when you drive by. The front page usually talks about crocs, drunk people, naked people, or cyclones. Hilarious. Here are some of my favourites so far.

This sign is posted at our local Woolworths, a grocery store that is one of two chain grocery stores here (the other is Coles). Funny!

Ah yes, would always get our groceries at that Woolworths! Don't forget to get 1/2 price seafood on Saturdays mornings, before they shut down for the weekend... Sigh, wish I was there with you! Xxoo
