Morning Bloggers,
Well its 8 month today since we left Heathrow on that Silver Sausage, outward bound.
I probably enjoy putting these blog stats in to remind us, when we look back at this adventure, just what has been done.
We have done about 32,000 K's in the Patrol and it has definatly been the tool for the job, it has taken us to places that would have been unaccesible if we hadn't of had it.
The Trailer tent has been great, even if you don't want one, you ought to go and buy one just for the crack, some times in distant memories I can remember it being cold, but that is a distant memory fortunately.

Trailer tents in the outback may be fine but back in blighty there will be a *lot* of cold nights and they are more expensive in comparison to caravans which are better at isulation from the heat/cold... and they are quicker to set up :-) It's good you got a great 4x4 for the trip I think the patrol was highly rated on Top queer in the Uk with 32000 klicks thats an average of 600 miles a week, great going. We have just converted our car to LPG to keep the costs down here in the UK as it is over £1.00 a litre now compared with 46p for LPG. Having lovely britiash weathe rhere now... the heatwave has subsided and given into intermittant sporadic downpours... jacki said we have this until the end of August :-( Visit my website for quality leading brand sports sunglasses at affordable prices ... great for the Australian weather! http://www.kontrolsports.co.uk
