This place seems so familiar, yet it’s completely different. Most shops close by 5pm and cities seem to close completely by 8pm. They speak English, but I have never used some of these words in my entire life: reckon, keen, heaps, and bloke. Sitting in Diana's backyard in Brisbane. Not bad. It was great to have a kitchen at our fingertips. Some lamb, avocado, and tomato toasted sandwiches with banana, raspberry, blueberry, and cranberry smoothies.

Hi Casey, What a great time in Australia and I am so glad you got to meet and mingle with the cousins. Absolutely unbelieveable hospitality and welcome and a good lesson for us all. We will miss you at Thanksgiving and we will say a little prayer for your safety. Love, Aunt Jo
