Beautiful sunny day for a trip of about 230Km through lush farming areas, with big crops of sorghum and cotton, with a brief stop for a cuppa in Moree. Pleasant grassed caravan park by the river. Went for an orientation trip around the town which is much larger than we expected. Lots of parks and the usual wide streets. Had not been aware that this area produces many precious gems, mainly sapphires but also quartz, tin etc.
