We all got ready with a big picnic and headed down to the park where we would watch the fireworks from. We transferred vodka into plastic bottles and hid jagermeister in the pram. We got the train to Waverton were Lauren (Kates mate) had got up early and baggsied a spot. The spot they got was the best one! You could see the bridge, opera house and the city. The weather was great not a cloud in the sky. We had a good feed and started drinking. We watched the 21:00 fireworks which were amazing. The whole sky lit up with fireworks that were sent off barges along the harbour. After them Stu mananged to get us free passes into Shore Thing which was in Bondi. We had to get the train across the city and meet up with Stu's mate. We managed to get there for Snoop Dogg and then Calvin Harris brought in the New Year along with another massive firework display. We had such a good night/

Hungover. We planned to go swimming but that never happened. We ended up having a lazy day beating Stu at fifa and eating to much. Kate and Sophie took Charlie out on his new trike, which he absolutely loved. Late afternoon we drove up the coast to Palm Beach. That's where Home and Away is filmed. We had or picture taken with the Summer Bay sign, looked for Alf had a quick dip then came back for Pizza Hut.

Beach Day. Havn't really had much time to relax so was nice to spend the day on the beach. We walked to Shelly beach which took us an hour. We set the tent up for Charlie and I went for a snorkel with my new snorkel that I got for Xmas. It was a good beach with no waves so Charlie could have a swim and good snorkling. I could see sting rays and loads of different types of fish. Sophie came with me the 2nd time I went and she really enjoyed it. Sophie's lad uni mates came to meet us that she hasn't seen in ages, so it was nice for her to see them all again. We then had a BBQ on the beach with the BBQ's provided. It took ages for the lads to go and get food so ended up being dark when we were cooking but it turned out nice. Mx
