16 August. Can't believe the day has finally arrived. It's brought back memories of my childhood when Christmas was only two weeks away but the clock just wouldn't hurry. Looking forward to catching up with the kids in London. Must admit though, not particularly overwhelmed by the prospect of spending the next 24 hours on a plane, but until they work out a better system of getting abroad, I guess we are stuck with it.
