Die letzten Tage waren vorallem für Artur mega anstrengend. Er hat jetzt 2 Tage bei einer Küchenbau Firma gearbeitet, für einen Hungerlohn von $10 pro Stunde. Da soll er mal selbst noch was zu erzählen: Sooodele, jetztertle. Ne also zwische 10 und 15 Stunden arbeit ist hier total normal. Dementsprechend war ich und bin ich noch immer völlig kaputt. Am Freitag gings dann noch zum Aufbau für das Osterfestival das im April stattfinden wird. War ganz lustig, wurden verpflegt und hier und da mal den Elektrikern geholfen und ganz wichtig mit Sicherheitswesten rumgelaufen und ganz professionel geschaut. Nach 7h gings dann nach einer kurzen Verschnaufpause um 18Uhr weiter zum Veevees. Da war die Hölle los und der Besitzer war mal da und ist eigentlich ganz ok. Harry's Cafe de Wheels and a night trail through Sydney Emma (wicked Scottish chick I work with, is on a round the world trip with her boyfriend Gary) and I decided that we would go on a stroll after work to the Botanic gardens to play with our new cameras. Little did we know it would turn into a midnight trek around the city! We enticed Garry to join us by saying we would be stopping at the famous Harry's Cafe de Wheels, which is a moveable food van, similar to those found at funfairs. Despite being moved a number of times in its history, the van is permanently fixed at Woolloomooloo. (I love the names over here! Now say that fast 3 times when you're drunk without laughing!) November 15th - Sculpture by the Sea This is just the kind of thing that Australians do well. Its sunny, its the weekend and thousands of Sydneysiders and tourists flock to Bondi, not for the beach (no I went there after :)) but for a massive exhibition of sculpture along the coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. And thes best thing about it is that it all free! Some of the sculptures were very random but some were very good.
