Tooodelooo everyone!

So sorry for not writing sooner. We've been busy..

No more India 😊 Horay and three cheers, especially from Maria. The less said about that the better.

We're now sitting in our only chair in our new living room in our new apartment in our new neighbourhood in our new country in our new continent. And we're very content, sipping Australian "Champagne" and, if we're very quiet we can hear the waves crashing against the rocks below.

Its been a whirlwind two weeks - jet lag, infected insect bites (Maria), sand in eye (Maria), many new things like bike (Maria), surfboard (Maria AND Will but yet to be tested), fridge, dishwasher etc. I think we also have a new sydney record in finding an apartment. And it's wonderful.......

See pictures below. And the map. Our area is called Freshwater it is known to be the home of Australian surfing and....little penguins. Have you ever seen one? They look like this:

We are also surrounded by many other animals like lorakeets, kitties, possums, bandicoots, and seagulls and everyone. And maybe some sharkies, however, we have not met yet. Its pretty much like living in a holiday home and we can hardly believe its true. You'd all be very very jealous, except for the fact that we have no friends. Wills only friend (Crispin) just left and now we really don't know anyone except from wills extended family. But we will find!! Sooooon!

Will is working quite hard in North Sydney, the second business district of the city and all is going ok there. It's been fairly quiet since many people are still away on holiday. His colleagues are nice and one of them is even a neighbour who may become a friend soon!

Maria is also working hard but working in a different way getting her driving licence, planning on learning to surf and meeting everyone who has anything to do with animals in Sydney. Again it is quite quiet due to the holidays but there is very strong likelihood of some undergraduate teaching work in March when the semester starts here in upside down land.

You make me sick!
Love the apartment! So glad that we are still stuck here in India without you. I'm really really happy for you though Maria as I think Australia fits for you two. Enjoy it! We are counting down to almost less than 1 year left here in dark Delhi. Take care and keep in touch! I need to check on your blog more often. I love the penguins!
