Hi Family, Friends and Blog readers,
We enjoyed a nice lie in today; Paul and Suzanne had left for work early and both flat mates had gone so we had the place to ourselves. I made us a nice bacon sandwich each and after a shower we headed out to Bondi beach.
We decided to walk the to Bondi beach from Coogee, this was a amazing 6km walk along the coast up and down with breath taking views. It took us about an hour to get there and it was well worth it!! The view walking in was so good; Bondi is a great beach but it’s defiantly over rated with plenty of other better beaches to see.
We relaxed on the beach reading, then I headed in for a swim, it was freezing and the waves were huge. I tried to swim in on the waves but they were so big they pulled me under every time.
After drying off we headed up to the main street to get some lunch, Vick had cold pizza from the night before so I got a chicken, spinach and avocado sandwich,
it was amazing!!
We then got the bus into Sydney city to have a look around Darling Harbor and the City. Darling Harbor is amazing, there is so much there including an Imax, so many restaurants, a sea life center, and zoo; we just went to the maritime museum to have a look around. It was really good and had loads of interactive stuff to play with, and we found a book on P&O there with a picture of our friend Toby in it!!
We then walked into town to get the bus back, on the way we got an ice cream each, they were really nice. We got on the bus and got back to Paul and Suzanne’s at around 5pm.
After everyone had got back and had showered, we headed out for a curry, so we caught the bus to Ranswick, the town next to Coogee. I am not a curry fan but I have to say it was good, it was my first curry ever at 33 years of age!! It was a BYO restaurant so we took a couple of bottles of wine with us.
We headed back and once home all headed to bed as we were shattered!!
That’s all for today.
Love N&V X
