Today we went for a lovely walk up to the headland. We were lucky enough to see a few whales today. The van park is huge, it is on several acres and there are a lot of vans at the back of the caravan park where it backs onto the National Park. Steve and I collected some firewood as we thought it would be nice to light a fire after dinner tonight. Our friends Robert and Tracy joined us later today and set up their van alongside ours at the beachfront.

The fire looks very cosy!
Are you allowed to light fires like that is your area? Was it cold? Robyn xx

Fires
Yes, in certain places you can light fires as long as they are contained in a suitable fireplace except when there is a total fire ban (usually in the heat of summer). It was a little cool at night near the water so it was nice to sit around the fire.
