Organic Farm

I got up at 6.20 a proper breakfast was waiting for us at 7.00am. Eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, toast, cereal the lot! A little bit stuffed on the bus at 8.00 and set off to Kosciuszko National Park. We did a lot of walking, at Rainbow Lake then at Snow Gum boardwalk, and this is where we saw loads of snow. Snow! In Australia!! It was really windy too, I had to wear an extra jacket :o( and saw Australias largest mountain, Koscuiszko, apparently! It was pretty small! We were driving for quite a long time of mountains with steep drops, some people on the bus didn't like that! The next point we stopped off at was a rock that split New South Wales and Victoria. Further along we stopped at what used to be a school, that held 5 children, after this we were no longer in teh snowy mountains. We got stopped by moving herd of cows, some strange people found that interesting! OUr room for the night was on a farm, just like home :o) The dogs are adorable, Shelly looks after the sheep 24/7 Trevor likes playing with twigs and Diesel hardly moves! I walked around the remote hills with Vanessa, a friend I met on the bus. Dinner was different as it was made with all their own organic vegetables. Sweet potato lasagne, cabbage and salad. Not my usual choice but I managed to have a second helping! After dinner I played cards with Vanessa, Caroline and Katiya (2 girls on our bus from Switzerland) then went to bed. Not long after there was a knock on the door. The bus driver had come in to have a go at me and Skinny for not mingling. We couldn't believe what we were hearing, she even started to swear at us and just told us what we 'should be doing'. I was fuming so much, she's a tour guide, not a parental guardian!!! As she said goodbye we said nothing and didnt leave the room
