Hi travel followers. I just realised it has been nearly 4 weeks since the last update and thought it time for some more adventures. From Toowoomba we headed for the Gold Coast and Pottsville to catch up with John & Jill of whom we have caught up with a few times in our travels and enjoy getting together with. As usual it was great to have a catch up and enjoy the local area including Coolangatta, Kingscliff, Hastings Point and of course the Pottsville Sunday markets etc. From there it was on to my home town of Mullumbimby for a week to catch up with Joy and Darren and the majority of their extended family, plus a bit of renovating thrown in for good measure. Old Bar was stop number two and I loved it!! Our apartment was amazing, overlooking the beach and ocean it was the perfect way to wake up each morning looking out over the ocean!! We left Hunter valley fairly early so got there by the afternoon. We unpacked the cars and the 'parents' headed to the supermarket and stocked up on food and drink. Our first day there was boiling, we all had a nice lunch on our balcony and then headed down to the garden below to chill out as well as Kerry and Brad having a little game of netball lol. Monday morning I got hooked up with some brand new tyres for the car, and we took off form Lismore Caravan Park. The oldies that had been staying nearby to our van all came to hug us and wave goodbye - a couple even had tears in their eyes!! Very cute! We were very excited to be heading out of Lismore and onto the next leg of our journey. We planned to be arriving at Rob & Judy’s house Old Bar mid afternoon. After stopping at the big banana for a happy snap we drove off through Coffs. Next thing we knew a lady was frantically waving us down, trying to pull us over.
