Tearful goodbye indeed...
I guess I should take solace in the George Harrison song "All Things Must Pass" Per-Olof. Seeing Canned Heat on Sunday...think we'll embrace "On the Road Again." It is sad to see GSBF passing but we will continue to attend as many gigs as possible as supporting live music is so much a part of our life.

This gig is where legends are made
So sad that we will never have this experience. We had hoped to share it with you in the future. Such sad news. Glad you made it 17 years.

This gig is where legends are made
Would have been a blast to have you guys come from USA for some hot blues Downunder. Don't fret. I'd make it happen anyway. We see bands each year at GSBF of young musos that show the blues scene is in good hands for many years to come.

I'll join you in tears
Great memories over those 17 years - friendships formed, music styles discovered & the excitement as each October long weekend dawned - will need to research for another festival - I won't take this lying down ?

Great memories my love...what a privilege to share it with so many great folks...all gathered for one reason...that blues music ministers to the soul. We support live music to keep it alive. Always looking forward to the next gig. Let's head off to one now!
