Lily, Ruby and me at Harrington
Hi all, we had 4 wonderful days at Harrington with family and friends.
Rodger actually caught 2 fish (Bream) that were keepers and we did enjoy for dinner one night.
We had an enjoyable evening BBQing with all the family and also a great afternoon at the local pub with everyone. We went down to the local to watch our footy team play on the BIG screen. Our team ‘The Knights’ won 40 – 8. You will see a pic of little Knox’s girlfriends – Lily and Ruby. They are the latest editions to our family. Knox has the best of both worlds at his finger tips. Lily is blonde and Ruby is dark, so he can choose or have both ............ lol. We certainly have 3 wonderful new babies around us. Please remember to arrow right down the page to see all the pics. Sometimes there is a big gap between the writing and the pics. Well we left Harrington on Monday and travel along the north coast. We passed through Coffs Harbour, the Mid North Coast which is known for its bananas and seafood. Then on through the Macleay region which is the beginning of our sugar plantations.

Happy hour at Harrington
had an overnight stop at Woolgoolga and had a great happy hour at the local bowling club before we home for dinner. We arrived here at Evans Heads on Tuesday. It is a small coastal town with a population of 3100 until holiday time when it swells to 10,000. So glad we came now. Rodgers younger brother and his partner Marjorie live here now. Graham is a volunteer Coast guard and we spent 3 hours on Tuesday arvo keeping watch on the waters with Graham. The scenery is spectacular from up in the watch house. Wednesday we went hiking through a bush to a remote beach. Rodger climbed over a large rocky ledge to reach another beach. I stayed behind as I am still sore and battered and didn’t want to risk it again. While he was gone I enjoyed watching the ocean with a passing white cruise ship and a big sailing boat. There was a large pod of dolphins playing around in front of me. As an added bonus, a man was sun baking just near me ‘a la natural’. He was happy to put on a show for me........ hehe. Last night we went out for dinner
