Today we went for a paddle up the mighty Clarence River. We were a bit hesitant at first because the current was strong, in places, and it was mighty deep. However, we soon got used to it and relaxed and enjoyed it. It was a great morning. We saw fish jumping out of the water, lots of water birds - Pelicans, cormorants, herons and other Bird life.

When we got back we visited the fish co-op and bought some fresh king prawns for lunch. It was just beautiful sitting on the edge of the river and eating our prawns....lucky us.

During the afternoon we had a wander around the little town and I got some bargains in the Op Shop.

Late this afternoon we enjoyed another beautiful sunset and we were lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins swim past.

We are packing up tonight as we are heading home in the morning. We have had a fabulous time.
