Stunning spot and quite a busy river

We had a pretty uninteresting trip, long straight roads and huge fields of dirt and stubble, talk about the sunburnt country. It bought back our first years of marriage in Nandaly, miles from anywhere and hot and dusty. Passed through towns we used to play tennis and golf in, it looks like most small towns like Nandaly have died with residents selling out and moving on.

We had breakfast in Donald which was nice, filled up in Ouyen and we were both surprised at how much it had grown.

When we reached Red Cliffs it was beautiful to see some green grass and trees, travelled through Mildura to Gol Gol and set up in a beautiful park right on the river. This afternoon we have sat by the river and watched speed boats, skiers and ducks, very civilised and had a Poppy and Nanna nap!!

We walked to the Gol Gol pub along the Murray the site was amazing with house boats moored at the edge of the Murray were the occupants could just jump off and walk up to the pub. Had a beautiful meal on the patio of the pub over looking the Murray, would recommend it to anyone.

Finished setting up and taking a break

Have had a lot of trouble with getting the internet reception is not good and had none last night that is why I could not get this sent.

Hope all are well, not missing home at all and this morning we are going to do some exploring of Mildura and surrounds.

Love to all
