Satuin paikalle surffikilpailun aikaan, joten nain kun ammattilaiset surffasi. Melkosen vauhdikasta ja asiallista menoa. Kaksi yota Newcastlessa riitti, ja kun uusien tuttavieni, Kasperin & Patrikin, kanssa loydettiin duunia pikkukaupungista nimelta Forster, ni tottahan me tanne lahdettiin! Taalla nyt reilun viikon olleena, voinen sanoa, etta tehtiin hyva paatos. Tosi rauhallinen paikka, jossa keski-ika on lahemmas 60. Hostellissa meilla on ollut tosi hyva meno. What am I doing Here?! Yes, well. Those who knew I was starting my travels with a week in Melbourne... well, this week, I think they all know why I'm not there now. But for the rest of you. My Grandfather, my mother's father, passed away at 10.30 am on Thursday 8th February, 2007. His funeral was today, at 11pm. He will be missed by his sister, five children, and countless grandchildren and friends. Of course I couldn't go to Melbourne. I am currently trying to work out *when* exactly, I will be getting down to Melbourne. Watch this space.... read more

Once again time has got away from me and I have about a month of news to fill in. From now on a lot of our trip consists of catching up with more family and friends so just read very quickly over the bits you are not interested in - I promise I won’t ask questions when we get home!! Arrived in Brisbane on Wednesday 8th November and booked into the Gateway CP in Rochedale. As we told people where we were staying most said “ROCHEDALE??” as if it was the end of the earth. It is not the most salubrious area but Brisbane doesn’t have a lot of tourist caravan parks as we discovered. Vi er nu ikke saa langt fra Sydney, cirka 300 km. vi er i en caravanpark i 2 dage inden vi korer videre mod Sydney og Canberrra. Vi fik en ny camper i Brisbane, den korer skide godt, og den er vandtaet. Vi var forleden aften ude i en orkan af et uvejr, kl. 6 om aftenen blev det pludseligt morkt, det lynede og regnen piskede ned, der var en mindre skypumpe over os, for at vaere aerlige saa var vi sku bange, men kom dog helskindet ud af det, og overnattede i en skodpark til 20 dollars. Ellers gaar det godt vi er paa internettet ien meget snobbet bowlingklub, Elisa fik en skideballe fordi hun havde sin kasket paa. Vi har kun kort tid paa nettet saa slut for nu.
