I have a friend who lives on the Mid North Coast of NSW near Forster, and she invited me to stay over the weekend and go to a concert in Forster on Sunday night.

I drove up on Thursday and back home again on the following Monday.

When I arrived, we headed to Tuncurry beach with her kids and dog. They had lots of fun jumping in and out of the waves!

On Friday (after the kids got on the school bus) we headed up to Harrington for lunch over the water and then did a road trip back to her house via Taree, Wingham and Krambach.

We went out for dinner on Friday night to an Asian Infusion restaurant and had sashimi for entree and a thai curry for mains. Great view!

On Saturday we went to the Nabiac Agricultural Show, which was disappointing in a couple of ways - it was very small with few rides and displays, and it was pouring with rain! The kids had fun on the rides when they were running, and we watched goats getting milked and judged.

Sunday was a drive to Kempsey to see the Slim Dusty Centre and to have lunch at the RSL overlooking the river. It was a very nice location.

On Sunday night we headed to the Foster Club to see Adam Brand and the Outlaws. Adam Brand is one of my favourite artists. You can read more about them here: https://www.abcmusic.com.au/news/introducing-country-music’s-newest-supergroup-adam-brand-and-outlaws and see a video clip here:

Then after a relaxing morning on Monday I made the trek home.

A great weekend was had by all!
