Although it was bloody rainy today Josh and me went to Fitzroy Falls in the Blue Mountains, nearly 50 km far away from Wollongong. When we came to one of the lookouts for the first time we actually didn't see anything bacause the clouds were hanging so low that you thought you were dead and facing the cliché of heaven's entrance - there was literally nothing to see but a shiny, milky wall. After half an hour most of them were blown out of there and when we came back it was amazing to see the clouds being sucked out of the valley over the rim of the mountainrange. I never felt such a wind coming from directly beneath me; extremely powerful updraught.
So we finally could have a glance down at the waterfall and at the valley of rainforest. It's really peaceful nature around here. I enjoyed wandering around here and driving through the woods and hills. Unfortunately I didn't spot a koala.
