This is what we drove through!
So now finally jumped on the Oz Experience bus and have been travelling up the coast for four days now. Its so much fun and I have been really lucky in meeting some great people. Many like me who are travelling alone, and who I have now joined on with and going to Brisbane. One guy from Nantucket, Us called Pete has booked himself on my bus so should be good to hang out with someone for a while!
Anyways! Barrington was my first stop! And my LORD what a trip that was! We arrived in this vast mountanous landscape and pretty much had nothing all around, it was grogeous though! We stayed in a hostel/camping place that had some of the most insanely adventourous people I have ever met! They were all guys who worked there and of course love it when a bus manly of girls arrived! They had an option of going white water kayaking in the dark! of course I signed up! they did a test run in the day and itwas fun, didnt do any rapids then though so when time came and we did it in the dark I was really excited. They say it

is better because you cant see anything! It was the truth! Very dark and the guys kept splashing us and getting us stuck in trees and rocks. I was laughing so hard at one point I thought I was going to fall out! We left at 10.30 p. for the kayaking so it was literally pitch black! And it is the only place in the world that does it! So there you go! jealous?! hahaha. Afterwards they had two hot tubs to warm up in and it was so good to get in warm water after. We stayed up really late but it was worth every minute! The day was fantastic and the people were just ace and it was such a good combination and great start to my trip!
