We had a few things to do and Ballina seemed to have all the answers so we stayed an extra day.

We did some food shopping, organised some bike repairs and looked for clothes (but without luck).

Lunch at the local restaurant was disappointing as our meals were far too salty. Seems to be a more common theme lately.

Our caravan park was close to the beach so we walked along the river and out to the breakwater to watch the surfers tackle the waves.

The caravan park also had lots of facilities to keep the campers amused (including putt putt golf). A tournament was quickly organised, with Lenny taking the gross score but Georgi winning the nett score and trophy. The handicapper took notice of how well Georgi played.
