Kentucky; Tenn River

After a wonderful, sunny and increasingly warm weather, we traveled down Kentucky Lake to the Tenn River; We selected Marsh Creek for the evening's anchor spot. After using the "windless" (what a luxury), Rog got the dinghy ready for Buddy's outing to shore. After rowing the catamaran dinghy to shore, Buddy, with all enthusiasm and immediate needs, piled out, right into mud up to his nose. Needless to say, we spend at lease a hour cleaning, Buddy, Rog, the dinghy and the swim platform steps. Rog's resolved sounded something like, " He won't go to shore in the morning."

This is a very quiet anchorage, narrow with woods on both sides. Very calm and should be nice for the evening. Dinner was ready when we anchored, so we'll settle down listen to "The Ends of The Earth", a great book of Ken Follett's that has filled many hours these last few days.

Looking forward to our venture tomorrow. Heading out toward, Pickwick Lake.
