Packing a Small Bag for a Big Adventure

We are three travelers (V,J, and L) headed for East Africa to experience the great migration.
We each were sent a medium-sized canvas duffel bag and a somewhat lengthy suggested packing list.
This will be a challenge, even though we are seasoned travelers!

We will be flying in one or more small charter planes that have weight restrictions, so soft-sided luggage is required. It is good to know that there will be daily laundry service at camp out in the middle of the wild country.

The top item on the suggested packing list is typed in BOLD and all caps: BINOCULARS.
