Staring into the Sun --- Key West

It was party time in Key West yesterday. Judy's birthday. Thirty-five, maybe fifty people showed. It went on till just before sunrise. It broke up early. We all got up about four hours later to go to the beach to get the early morning rays. There was not much food left. We ate what there was. We would have skipped breakfast altogether, but the kid has to eat. A two year old needs nutrition. There we were at nine in the morning eating ice cream and the dog had gin on his breath. It was like being in New York without the inconvenience of going there.
