keen lake camping

Keen lake camping was my first camping experience and it turned out
to be the best one too.keen lake is located in the lush scenic beauty
of the pocono mountains.The base attraction to this camping ground is
the 90 acre lake,Which attracts quick attention.The calm lake with the
early bird chirpings feels heavenly,away from the hustle and bustle of
the crowded city life.u seem to b transported to an entirely
different world.

Keen Lake camping site offers,tent camping,RV camping,seasonal
cottage camping,but my family and our friends preferred to go for tent
camping.If u plan to camp this summer,booking in advance allows the best
spots,like the one facing the lake.....U can pitch ur tent,facing the
river and u will be taken away by the breathtaking beauty of nature,kids
playing in the banks of the lakeand adults having good fun swimming in
the lake and also having a boat ride in the river.The boat ride seems to
be a never ending one and a particular point,its just u and ur family
in the boat,admist a huge lake and tall towering trees and birds
chirping..Everything is just amazing!!!!...


The site also offers lake facing games like basket ball,volley ball
and base ball court for the adults and teens and a huge lake facing
playground, for kids which include sliding boards,swing etc.The kids will
just love the Swimming pool.You will be amazed by the live music by
DJ's and the ocassional night dances..They also sport an indoor game
arcade,which the kids cant stay away from.


You can take a plunge in the lake and have a heavenly afternoon
dip,which has a rope fencing for feet upto 6 feet,beyond which u cant
wander.The kids ofcourse, can stay in the banks of the lake and have fun or
head back to the river and They will be on the constant watch of the
parents who ofcourse can have their time.
They have 3 fountains in
the river that helps the lake clean to some extent..

The only disadvantage is the rest rooms,If u want to use one,u have
to take a drive,just 2 mins to the main building,which features good
showers and Its well maintained.

We ofcourse,had a good time cooking,swimming,trailing..etc and it
turned out to be the most treasurable time spent and it brings back
pleasant memories,when i think about it...
