Salmon Fishing - Lake Michigan

Well, we have always wanted to go Salmon Fishing in Lake Michigan and we had the chance to go with our friend, George Smith. George has a beautiful fishing boat complete with all the downriggers and all that one needs for having a great day fishing. Bill drove the boat while George and Patti fished for the big one ! Patti caught the big one - the first Salmon on George's new boat ! It was a whopper and we now have 26 Salmon steaks - FRESH- from Lake Michigan! That was fun !

What a fish !

This fish weighed approximately 13 to 16 lbs. It was nearly 4 feet long. It produced 26 filets . All were delicious !
