The dunes behind our RV park are approximately 300 feet high. This range of dunes here in Oregon are the largest dunes in the United States. They are approximately 40 miles long and 4 miles wide from where we are to the ocean. Here are some shots of us walking the dunes.

Climbing these dunes takes hours as they are all straight uphill.

The dune buggies look so tiny compared to the dunes. They are the size of a regular compact automobile up close. See the ocean behind the dunes?

This is just amazing. I had no idea the dunes were this large.

Here are the dunes to the south of us. They stretch for another 35 miles or so, 40 miles in length overall.
