We left Denver early morning and stopped in New Castle, Colorado outside Glenwood Springs to play golf at a new highly rated course called Lakota Ridge. What a golf course ! Many tee boxes are hundreds of feet above the fairway. Just georgous!

Next stop was in Olathe, Colorado just North of Ridgeway where we will be attending our fly fishing school. Here in Olathe we met Bill and Ludie . They suggested we go to a local winery. We not only found wine there, pretty good wine too, but we found the most wonderful wild asparagus. We picked 15 lbs. of fresh asparagus and we paid only $7.00 for it. Met a wonderful family here and went home and made fresh cream of asparagus soup! It was delicious.
Bill was practicing his fly casting for school which is coming up in two days! We had a great time here!
