In mid August, to escape the Florida heat and humidity, we embarked on a 5 week road trip. By flying to Denver we were able to get right to the heart of our destinations. Bagdad Cafe was the filming site of a cult movie titled, "Bagdad Cafe". Apparently, it's very popular in Europe and is a must see spot for Europeans traveling Route 66.

Harvey Houses were built in the 1800's along the railroad. They were places to eat and rest while taking the train from the east coast to the west coast. This is one of the few remaining and restored buildings.
