Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Cowboy country and Palm Springs

Terry and I travelled to the south west of the US to celebrate New Years in Nevada-Arizona and California.
First gambling and touring in Las Vegas, saw Menopause, the musical.
Then drove to the Grand Canyon, staying on the rim of the south side for great views of sunrise and sunset, a helocopter tour and walks East and West. Wished the trail to the bottom was not as icy, I would have trecked down to the valley and back up maybe even on mule like in Santorini. Lovely!
Then to cowboy country, stayed in Wickenburg, ate with the locals and followed the whole town to a movie, fun.
Returning to Los Angeles, we stopped in Palm Springs and attended a few movies at the Film Festival. Met up with the McShanes, Lynne, Viv and Odette and their friends; Johny, Deb and Renata also came for a visit and had brunch with us.
