Today we took a boat cruise on the Yellowstone Lake. The lake is 131 square miles so even though we were on the water an hour we saw only a part of it. We circled Stevenson Island where some animals adventure to in the winter (they walk on the ice). Sometimes they don't come back across soon enough so they get stuck on it all summer. We cruised by the Yellowstone Hotel and saw several buildings that were built in 1926, including the hotel itself. As you can see from the pictures the hotel is even painted yellow. We then drove around for awhile hoping to we might see some wildlife, but that was a bust.
