I am in port Townsend Washington the wooden boat capitol of the west coast. I have never seen so many beautiful sailboats in my life. I am helping a guy work on his 54' purse seiner from Alaska. You have no idea how much bottom there is to scrape on one of these, days and days and I did all by myself. There is a lot left to do so I plan on being here for a while, I am living in the boat yard. A dream for me. I am also volunteering at the Northwest Maritme Center two days a week. Amazing how much work you can find if you work for free.

Port Townsend - little town, big views.
I just came across your blog by chance. Only yesterday I had recommended Port Townsend as a "must go" to some friends. We enjoyed the entire Olympic Peninsula, but this town was one of our favorite stops on our 6 month trip! Thanks for the memory.
