The Eastern Gate
This is the very gate that Yahshua will enter through, upon His return to His City! Hallelujah! Shalom, shalom ~
It has been one week ago, today, that we began our journey back to the United States. We arrived to meet our beautiful smiling daughter, MacKenzie, at SeaTac Airport having experienced an uneventful, safe trip. By 4:00 Wednesday afternoon PST we were back to our house of 19 years, the dog, the cat, the fish... We've been changed. Our home is forever in the Land of Promise, in the Land of the Lovely One, the Holy One of Isra'el. Blessed be HE!
Now we are sharing our experiences with friends and family, while deep inside my chest is a gentle pain. I have heard of others with this same phenomena, so I am not surprised. To some degree you've felt it, too, at some point in your life. It 's a longing to be with the comfort of your soul, with the special someone that brings satisfaction and contentment. It's a good hurt, for a right desire, but it is a yearning, a longing, with only one cure. Now we wait... Perhaps with the elections in Isra'el and the stated desire of those in the Land, there will be a time for any who will, to

The view looking to the Eastern Gate. make the move to the Land of Promise. If the doors are to be open for the Knudsons, the doors will be opened. I am quite confident that the right thing will happen, and not a moment too late. We are His, and He is the best Father. He will Light the Way!
Isra'el is a country on the verge of war. The immanency of it greater today than yesterday, and increases. The people are threatened by the Arabs who have openly declared that, "peace will not come to the world until the Jews are all drowned in the sea". Not all Arabs declare this, but those in ruling positions in the countries surrounding the tiny state, Hamas within the state, and others beyond, do not hesitate to declare it. Within the country are huge factions of differing views: the ultra-religious, who have been known to physically attack someone who doesn't do what they do at a given time, they are bound by laws that override anything written in Torah; the ultra-liberal, who could care less about their own history and would like to blot out the fact that they were appointed by YHWH to be a set-apart people;
Lion's Park
A favorite landmark for us, and a gorgeous place in the city. the average working joe, who seeks to live what he believes and is crammed into a temporary house made of "paper and glue", by his own government, so that the Arabs in the nearby neighborhoods can move into his former house - so that peace will come to the land; the government, in which corruption has found it's nest and concerns itself with only the welfare of it's own lusts and passions, catering to the demands of those bound in finance and gods of the lusts of the flesh, the eyes, and the boastful pride of life. War is coming to Isra'el - waged from outside her borders, as well as inside.
There is a promise that YHWH has made concerning Isra'el, the Land and her People, in the Scriptures: "I will bless them that bless you, and I will curse him that curses you - and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed/mixed." (Genesis 12:3) Where are you in light of this inevitable promise? It has come to our day that "the time to favor Zion is now, yea, the set time is come". Soon, The Creator of all things, will arise and have
In the Old City
So long, for now!!! mercy on her. (Psalm 102:13) Where will you stand in this day? The promise is made. He adds, "And, see, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according to his deeds. I am Aleph and Taf, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. " (Revelation 22:12,13) And then there is dawn after the darkness, just as the biblical day begins in the evening, so are these days to pattern themselves after His Word. It will grow increasingly dark, but the Promise of Day has been made. Revelation 21:5 declares that He that sat upon the throne (Yahshua) said, "See, I make all things renewed... for these words are True and Faithful."
Though there is trouble on the horizon, there was never a moment of threat to us while we were there. As we walked down streets that have seen death from terror attacks even this past summer, and rode in buses on lines that have experienced bombings, an assurance rested on us that we were where we belonged, and our welfare was the responsibility of the One who called us there. Especially now, we choose to stand with our Brother, the Jews. Whether we will be granted the favor to stand physically side-by-side with them, or have to be at a distance, we have been mixed into this family through the power and might of YHWH's Messiah, our Savior Yahshua ~ and want to be counted in His household. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my Elohim, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Psalm 84:10) Wherever we are, we stand with Isra'el.
This was, for us, the trip to end all trips. I knew it would be. Somehow I don't feel as though I will close this blog site. We may be adding to it, on our return to the Land! Please feel welcome to stay or go. Even better, why not make your own plans to visit this anciently, future Land?! Be sure to take us along on your blog!!!
Shalom and may YHWH bless you, Susie, reporting for the three ~ Rob, Susie and Mitchel
