Hey All...Sorry for the delayed update. We promised to keep in touch so here goes. Sonja wants to share some great photos from a pre-move trip she made to this area last fall. (You can see some of the foliage turning colors.)


These awesome photos are of Sonja and friends kayaking in Puget Sound just off the state capital grounds. She took some amazing underwater shots of some marine life in the sound. I'm thinking that she should be a photojournalist for National Geographic. Sonja and Sam are getting ready to go kayaking this spring now that the weather has started to warm up!


We also wanted to share with you one of our favorite spots to go and have a glass of wine, Falls Terrace Restaurant. This restaurant was voted one of the two most romantic restaurants in Olympia and we can see why. We've eaten there a couple of times and loved the food, the ambiance/service and the incredible view of Tumwater Falls.

The falls take your breath away and from the river walk you can watch salmon swimming upstream
