Rest day on Whidbey Island

Yesterday we took sort of a day off. Checked out the base, drove to the sea plane base Navy Exchange, bought groceries at Safeway, eat lunch at a great sea food restaurant, visited a small light light house, watch the air show of F/A 18 Growlers over our campsite, played some Horse Shoes, and watched a whale at sunset behind our campsite. A great rest day. Today we are headed to Friday Harbor and not a rest day. More tomorrow.
