Tues, 22 May We left Crescent City under cloudy skies. We stopped at the state line to get a picture because Oregon was Kerry’s 50th state and my 48th. A little farther up the road we stopped at Crissy Field information center for brochures and postcards. It was just starting to drizzle as we got out of our cars. After that it rained most of the day, sometimes a mist, sometimes a drizzle. We drove into Cape Blanco SP thinking to get pictures of the lighthouse and have lunch. The wind was so strong, it blew my door shut when I tried to get out and it was driving the rain horizontally. I didn’t even get a picture of the lighthouse. At Coos Bay we found the Walmart and did a little shopping. The rain stopped
