Well Hello,
As you may have guessed from the previous post, our German guests have safely arrived! Everyone was able to make it to the airport this afternoon to welcome our guests to Washington. Many nervous smiles and friendly hello's were exchanged, and we are off and running!
Tomorrow is their first day at school. They will meet in the library at about 9 for a welcome from our principal, and then they will be out in the classes.
It was a very positive start today and this promises to be a very successful exchange!

I loved watching all the kids waiting with such joy! It seemed like forever for them to come up the escalators, but when they did it was like magic. Can't wait to hear all the first night stories tomorrow!
