Stopped at barnes&nobles for coffee and an atlas. Virginia --> Tennessee.
Basically took 81 till it doesn't exist anymore, then 40 to Knoxville. Drove in an out of some pretty intense rain storms, but the sun was shining strong in between each one and the day ended with gorgeous weather.
Stopped somewhere along the way for lunch in a town called Pulaski, a.k.a. bumf*ck, Virginia. Had the most terrible Japanese food of life, but a good time regardless.
Quote of the Day: (While listening to some local radio stations in TN)

Dad: What do you get when you play a country music song backwards?

Me: ...Ozzy Osbourne?

Dad: No, you get your car back, your house back, your girlfriend back...
LMAO. maybe you had to be there??
Anyway we decided to stay in Knoxville for the night. Got here right before the sunset, which we watched on a bridge over the Tennessee river. Then we went to this place called 'Calhoun's': this siicckkk brewery with seating on a dock right over the river. AWESOME, awesome place. Got some beers and apps there then carried on to another bar in Downtown Knoxville called the Urban Bar Corner Cafe. More outside seating here, kinda dive-y, liked it a lot.
And now here I am in Motel 8, room 112,
