Hi Everyone We left Kentucky to a 5hr road trip to Virginia,we are staying at a ski resort called Massanutten Resort,it’s really lovely,we have a large stand alone cottage with a garage,2bedroom,2 bathrooms,everything we need. One day we went to Washington DC for the day,we travelled 2 hrs and then hopped on a train for 30mins to Downtown Washington. Visited the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum very sobering,we then went to American history Museum which we really enjoyed. We then went to the Smithsonian Institution Bldg (The Castle). To top the day off we went to the White House and got good pictures,unfortunately President Trump wasn’t in residence!!!. We have had a good 6nights here and relaxed ready for our journey Tommorrow to South Carolina 7hrs travelling. Hope everyone is well KS
