15 hours and a wake-up...

That's how we used to refer to short time in the military...it was something a troop always looked forward to, the last remaining days of an assignment, taking leave, or calling it a career. This was my initial thought, getting up this morning and preparing for my last day at work—for almost 3 weeks. I chuckled to myself thinking how somethings never change.

Tomorrow, I uproot my young family, and fly around the world to visit a land that I have heard so much about. The excitement to finally meet the rest of my family, enjoy a new culture, and recharge the batteries grows moment by moment!

To all those my friends on this side of the pond... I'll be right back!
