We left home at noon for our 2:00 flight and and everything went smoothly. We arrived in Houston on time, collected our bags, picked up our rental car and got on the road. Before we knew it, we were on a cashless toll road with no way to get off. So, what else can you do but run the tolls….cant wait to see what the fine is going to be.

Our hotel was the Hampton Inn and Suites in Galveston. After checking in, we went to find a place to eat. The front desk clerk at the hotel recommended the Brew House just down the street so, we headed that way.

The food was great and so was the service. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Galveston.

Then it was back to the room for bed.
