I found a ride to move from the farm in Denver to Portland with Mr. Sam.

We went through a bunch of parks including:
Arches - full of people with cameras but has some beautiful formations that made my insides breathe deep. Slept cowboy style out on the rocks with the numerous stars above me. Watched sam fire dance here a few nights and Helena and i played in the sand during sunset
Canyonlands - see what erosion looks like after so many years. Chatted about life plans with Helena while looking out on what time looks like.
Bridges - great day hiking. i learned many of the uses for native plants while i was here and collected things for dyes and eating. Old cliff paintings and native homes tucked into the rocks.
Gooseneck - went here on Trav's recommendation. He ended up meeting me back here and i decided to move back to Colorado to spend more time with him after baking in the desert sun for a day. The river here carved a narrow route deep into the plateau that was wonderful to explore when the sun got less in intense. Also some great driving roads nearby in the Valley of the Gods. You can sundry a tomato in hours here.
Capitol Reef - camped up top and looked down on amazing rock structures. They also have some old orchards that you can eat for free at and buy some more produce at a very cheep price per pound. Also a great little road-side stand nearby that is put up by a local farm which i got some great sunflower seed bread at.
Flaming Gorge - hunters near by all night which freaked me out but we had a wonderful fire that lifted us up before our intense hike the next day
Grand Teton - Lake Solitude Hike where i saw the largest fox i have ever seen
Yellowstone - Shoshone Lake Trail past Lone star geyser with bison blocking the trail and thermal hot spots bubbling around you all night long. Heart Lake Trail with a great beach to sit by and amazing wildlife viewing. Yellowstone River Trail through sage fields and a suspension bridge. Woke up with bison next to the tent.

Amazing time teaching sam the ropes and smelling fresh air and being back in the wilderness i love so much. Ended up going
