We left the Elk Mountain Hotel this morning and continued west on I-80 for about 180 miles. The wind was kicking up again across the vast nothingness of flatlands. It was pretty intense trying to judge the gusts while they were pushing around our little RV.
Once we left the interstate in Green River, WY, we went about 50 miles south on a scenic road that winded up and around the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area that splits Wyoming and Utah.
We pulled into the Lucerne Valley Campground and set up on the bank of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir around lunchtime.
Sheila is out for her second run of the day. We will hang out here until tomorrow, then off to Salt Lake City and/or the Great Salt Lake.

I believe I could run on ground that flat... even without being chased.
