We left Las Vegas early morning heading N-E on Interstate 15, leaving Nevada, briefly crossing the upper corner of Arizona and arrived at Tropic in Utah where we were going to stay 3 nights.
Tropic is literally in the middle of nowhere and would be one more rural place in Mormon Utah should Bryce Canyon not be at its door. It is an ideal place to stay for visiting the Park and has the extra benefit to be on the very scenic Utah State road 12.
